Pictures That Lie
I chose the picture of Oprah Winfrey on the cover of TV Guide. This picture has pieced together two different people. Oprah's head and the body of Ann-Margret from a publicity shot. They did not get permission to use the body of Ann-Margret in this picture from 1979. I do not agree with splicing these pictures. First of all, it was illegal. Second, I feel like they manipulated this picture because they are trying to tell the public through the picture that everyone should look like this if they want to be the richest woman. This was very harmful because Ann-Margret's fashion designer noticed the picture and ratted them out.

Isn't that crazy? I'm not sure if anyone tried to sue them or they got away with running it completely, but you're right, it's illegal.
I agree with you on this picture. I think that it is a worse than the one wiht Martha Stewart because they took pieces of people without their knowledge or concent.
